Kaatho
Kaatho is a conceptual furniture collection that explores how material becomes structure, surface, and form. Rather than decorative layering, each object treats cane and oak as load-bearing systems wrapped, stretched, bent, and held in tension to create calm, grounded compositions. Across the series, repeated gestures of cylindrical legs, woven skins, soft edges, and restrained proportions establish a quiet architectural language that unfolds from piece to piece.

Challenge(s)
The collection investigates continuity across a family of objects. Tables, benches, lounge seating, storage, and low platforms through consistent material behaviour and tectonic logic. Woven form forms rhythmic surfaces and enclosures, while timber frames provide weight and clarity. Each piece explores a single spatial idea extension, gathering, enclosure, pause allowing form to remain minimal while construction becomes expressive.

Deliverie(s)
Every object was developed as a digital-first conceptual prototype, resolved through controlled proportions, neutral tonal palettes, and tactile surface emphasis. The imagery foregrounds texture, curvature, and shadow, allowing material presence to communicate before detail drawings. Together, the collection reads as one continuous system quiet, tactile, and structurally legible where variation emerges through posture rather than ornament.
